There is a tea room on site where you may have your lunch and purchase teas, coffees and food. The tea room is only open at certain times of the year so we recommend bringing your own food just in case.
Our experiences are very laid back and friendly to make you feel as comfortable as possible around our birds. we encourage you to ask any questions and take lots of pictures and videos of our stunning birds while on the experience.

We offer more than just a guided walk with birds flying from perch to perch; we take you on an incredible journey through the majestic ancient woodlands, lush meadows, and the enchanting gardens of Herstmonceux Castle, providing the chance to see the birds in their natural surroundings.
Your experience includes a day entry pass to the Herstmonceux Castle Estate, allowing you to freely explore the beautiful grounds after your hawk walk (subject to the estate's open season and hours).

These experiences are run all year round by appointment only. Not in a busy centre, but in the stunning grounds of Herstmonceux Castle. You will not be in a large group. Group sizes average 4-6 but are no larger then 10, this is not very common as we like groups to be kept small.
You can bring along 1 spectator per participant. If the recipient is under the age of 16, an adult must accompany them as either a participant or spectator.
